The First Chapter Meeting in 2020 Scheduled January 13th.

Greater St. Louis NORML events

The Greater St. Louis NORML chapter will hold the first meeting of 2020 on Monday, January 13, 2020. Our upcoming January meeting will be a perfect opportunity for you to renew your membership. You’ll be able to vote in our February chapter election.

The annual board of directors election will be the following month on Monday, February 10, 2020. New members can only vote at the second meeting they become a member, so join or renew your membership in January so you can vote in February.

If you want to see Missouri’s new medical cannabis industry succeed for the citizens of Missouri, why not consider joining the board? By serving as a director of GSTL NORML you can help protect MMJ patient’s legal, employment, housing, cultivation, and possession rights.

You’ll have the opportunity to take on a meaningful role in cannabis legalization in 2020 by serving as a NORML officer.

There will be many new medical marijuana patients applying for certification in 2020. Based upon the amount of interest and questions we receive every day, these new cannabis consumers need education on cannabis dosing, cultivation, and understanding their rights as a medical marijuana patient under Missouri law. You can be a part of that equation.

We need cannabis activists, enthusiasts, and ambassadors to help change Missouri. Our goal is to transform the public perception into acceptance of cannabis as a safe, legal plant for Missouri citizens.

While Article XIV of the Missouri Constitution grants all Missouri citizens the right to access, purchase, possess and cultivate cannabis, law enforcement and the criminal justice system are not fully onboard with the will of the people.

Local officials and city councils have actively worked against the protected rights of medical marijuana businesses and patients by limiting access in their precincts. They have failed to follow guidelines outlined in Article XIV or willfully ignored the mandate of Missouri voters.

We cannot allow police and prosecutors to continue to charge legal, card-carrying medical marijuana patients in Missouri. Many rural jurisdictions are not abiding by the Missouri Constitution. MMJ patients have unlawfully been charged with possession and other related charges. We need your help. We need your voice.

Join Greater St. Louis NORML in 2020 as we forge ahead educating Missouri citizens about cannabis and protecting your rights to access medical cannabis.

Join us on January 13, 2020 at our chapter meeting and renew your membership. Consider running for the board of directors. We will have open positions. You must be a member to vote or hold office.
