4/20/2020 UPDATE: Our third NORML Lobby Day Scheduled for April 22, 2020 has been cancelled. The Missouri legislature has changed its scheduled sessions because of the Covid-19 virus and is now operating under “social distancing” guidelines set by Governor Parson.
NORML LOBBY DAY:
WED, MARCH 11, 2020: 11 AM to 3 PM
On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, NORML activists from across the state of Missouri are gathering at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City to lobby regarding thirteen (13) pending cannabis “marijuana” bills.
NORML chapters will be sending volunteers to the capitol in Jefferson City. From the St. Louis metro area, Greater St. Louis NORML and Greater St. Charles NORML will be participating. Carpools are forming. You may follow us in your own vehicle to the capitol too.
NORML is looking for cannabis enthusiasts, advocates, and volunteers to attend. We provide all the information you’ll need about the pending cannabis bills being considered by our Missouri Legislators. It’s your chance to make your voice be heard in formulating cannabis policy in Missouri. We cannot allow Missouri legislators to single-handedly make decisions on our behalf without citizen input.
Greater St. Louis NORML is leaving from the Panera Bakery, Westport Plaza location at 8:00 AM on Wednesday.

In Jefferson City, MO NORML is meeting at the northwest corner of the capitol building on the first floor, between offices 112 and 113 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

NORML will provide all volunteers with information about pending legislation including the two successful bills filed during NORML’s first successful lobby day this past February.
House Bill 2764 will protect medical marijuana patients as parents.
House Bill 2715 will protect medical marijuana patients from discrimination in employment.
NORML is urging the House Speaker, Elijah Haahr, to assign the above bills to the committee immediately.
