Missouri Cannabis Industry Conference Opens With Packed House

Missiouri Cannabis Industry Association conference in St. Louis, MissouriMissouri’s first cannabis industry conference kicked off in St. Louis at 9:00 am Friday, March 23, 2018 in the City Place Hotel conference facility.

More than 200 future cannabis entrepreneurs from across the Show-Me state came to learn how legal, regulated and taxed medical marijuana businesses will operate in Missouri. As the New Approach Missouri campaign to legalize medical marijuana enters the final signature gathering phase, local, state and nationwide interest is increasing.

The Missouri Cannabis Industry Association (MCIA) sponsored the conference and brought in expert cannabis industry speakers from around the country to cover every aspect of business operations for start-up cannabis businesses.

MCIA guest speaker topics included strategies for license application filing, business plan development, cultivation operation, cash management and banking, securing real estate and facilities buildout, maintaining regulatory compliance, local, state and federal tax compliance, and anticipating future governmental rule changes. A host of mission-critical activities were covered and the attentive audience had many specific questions for the speakers.
