Legal Missouri 2022 Campaign Submits 390,000 Signatures
“WE DID IT!!! I am pleased to announce that on Sunday, our team submitted over 390,000 signatures to the Secretary of State’s office in Jefferson City!” said John Payne, Legal Missouri 2022 campaign manager in tweet to supporters. “This is more than double the amount required, so we're very confident that even if many are deemed invalid, we're going to qualify for the ballot this year.”

The City of St. Louis has decriminalized petty possession and cultivation of cannabis with a stroke of Mayor Tishaura Jones' pen as she placed her signature on Board Bill 132 (BB132), Monday, December 13, 2021.
