Greater St. Louis NORML had decided to go big! The 2017 St. Louis Earth Day Festival has expanded into a two-day affair and GSTL NORML will have a double-sized booth both days!
We are occupying booths W10 and W11 in the Wellness Section at the Muny Grounds, in Forest Park.
Opening on Saturday, April 22 at 11:00 am, you can find your favorite cannabis and NORML themed merchandise for sale at our booth. Plus, we have a special signature signing area for the New Approach Missouri’s (NAM) 2018 Medical Marijuana Petition.
Bring your friends, family, co-workers, colleagues and fellow cannabis activists by our booth to sign the medical marijuana petition for 2018.
GSTL NORML will have a booth both days of the Earth Day Festival: April 22nd and April 23rd. Our hours will be 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday throughout the festival.
GSTL NORML will also have a booth for the Chesterfield Earth Day Festival one week later on Saturday, April 29, 2017. This event will last from 10:00 am-3:00 pm and will held at the Chesterfield Mall – Center Court. Cannabis activists in St. Louis County and St. Charles should stop by and say hello!
GSTL NORML is still accepting donations for Project 22, a medical marijuana educational experience. You can make a donation to fund the broadcast production of our documentary for veterans suffering from combat-related mental illness like PTSD. Project 22 is supported by NORML chapters nationwide including Denver NORML, Colorado NORML, NORML KC, Springfield NORM and Mid-Missouri NORML.
Twenty two veterans take their lives by suicide every day because of PTSD and other mental health issues caused by military service. Your $22.00 donation will help us educate Missouri voters how medical cannabis can be used as medicine to treat these suffering vets.
GSTL NORML is also supporting Missouri HB 170, the Missouri Hemp Farming bill. Under the proposed law hemp production would once again return to the fertile fields of Missouri. Missouri may have a fighting chance in 2017 to start the journey back to becoming the nation’s top hemp production state in the US, if HB 170 passes.
We need your help and donations to continue spreading the news about the most earth-friendly renewable resource on the planet.
HB 170 would remove industrial hemp from the state’s list of controlled substances and create a program for the licensing and regulation of hemp growers and handlers. Passage of this bill helps lay the foundation for eliminating Missouri’s cannabis prohibition.
Stop by our booth and find out which Missouri Senator could stop this important legislation dead in its tracks. Under his watch, hemp legislation has died in the Senate two years running. Don’t let this happen this year.
Greater St. Louis NORML wants to make every day, Earth Day by allowing Missourians the right to cultivate cannabis, the most environmentally friendly and utilitarian plant on the planet. Help us make it happen. Stop by our booth and say hello!
