UPDATE March 23, 2020: The state NORML affiliate chapter directors have unanimously voted on Monday, March 23, 2020 to reschedule the State NORML Conference for October 10, 2020. More details will be available in the coming weeks. Keith Stroup, founder of the national NORML will be the major keynote speaker.
Concerns over the coronavirus and the cancellation of in-person classes at the University of Missouri at Columbia has led to the cancellation of Missouri NORML’s spring conference.
Originally scheduled for April 4th at the Arts & Science Auditorium on the University campus, the spring conference would be a celebration of 50 years of marijuana law reform!
NORML chapters and their members, supporters, and cannabis advocates from across Missouri attend the conference to exchange ideas and listen to cannabis experts and speakers. Topics include the latest news on laws affecting legal cannabis users in Missouri and we were going to hear about important updates about the adult-use initiative petition.
The spring conference will be rescheduled as soon as the immediate threat of the coronavirus subsides and authorities allow gatherings to take place once again.
The founder of national NORML, Keith Stroup was scheduled as a keynote speaker! We hope to reconvene this exciting state conference later in the year and invite Keith Stroup back as our speaker.
