Business Bootcamp Seeks Emerging Missouri Cannabis Entrepreneurs

Missourians interested in exploring business opportunities in the legal medical cannabis industry are invited to attend the Cannabis Business Licensing Bootcamp.

Greater St. Louis NORML members and our colleagues at Greater St. Charles NORML can benefit with a $50.00 OFF Discount Code. By special arrangement only, when you register use code: NORML to receive your discount.

Beginning April 13, 2019, hopeful cannabis entrepreneurs will work alongside established business experts for foundational knowledge and networking in the blossoming marijuana industry. The program, which will be held at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, focuses on preparing people of color, women, veterans and small businesses owners for Missouri’s competitive cannabis business license procurement process.

At the end of the four-week program, each brand has the opportunity to pitch their business to a panel of investors and receive critical feedback. Following the bootcamp, participants return home to refine their business plans and gather team assets in preparation for the release of Missouri cannabis business license applications on June 4, 2019.

The bootcamp is presented by Minorities for Medical Marijuana (M4MM), a non-profit organization focused on advocacy, outreach and training in the cannabis industry. Subsidized tuition is made possible by generous sponsorship from the established cannabis business community. Presenting sponsor Green Rush Consulting will provide insight into the licensing process. Educational partner Oaksterdam University will offer curriculum support. Partnership opportunities are still available for industry leaders that support equitable ownership and employment opportunities in Missouri’s emerging cannabis economy.

The Cannabis Business Licensing Bootcamp has been featured in the Cannabis Business Times, the Missouri Business Alert and numerous digital outlets and radio programs.
