Greater St. Louis NORML February Chapter Meeting

Join us for our second meeting of 2018. It’s Lincoln’s birthday and we’re prepared to set free some hot cannabis topics at this meeting. We’re finalizing the details to bring another interesting speaker to the February meeting. Watch our website and Facebook pages for the announcement.
Thanks to our past month’s speakers, Jonathon Callicoat of HOPS 21 and George Nolen, who gave us a live Skype tour of a cannabis grow facility in Oregon. Members asked plenty of questions and learned how cannabis is sold and grown in Oregon.
February is the Greater St. Louis NORML’s yearly election where our members elect the board of directors for the next year. All of our incumbant board members will seek another term to continue the work to advance cannabis legalization in Missouri.
Our chapter bylaws were approved by members in January, so the February election will be conducted under new rules. Only paid members in good standing who have attended at least one meeting may vote in the election.
We’ll get the latest news from the New Approach Missouri campaign to legalize medical cannabis in Missouri. The campaign is running full steam to reach their signature goals and it’s not too late to volunteer. Signature training session are available at our meeting.
Missouri NORML’s Lobby Day at the capital in Jefferson City, Missouri will have come and gone by our February meeting. Find out what your fellow cannabis activists experienced educating our lawmakers. Our lobby day is January 30, 2018, 11:00 am at the state capital.
